In this article, I will deep dive into the best places to play pickup soccer in Indianapolis…according to the locals on the Conquer app! This will take you through a variety of different venues in a variety of different places across the city of Indianapolis. As a whole, Indianapolis has a vibrant pickup soccer community and the pickup soccer Indianapolis group is one that can be uber-competitive or very friendly and social. Keep reading to find the best locations near you. 

Carroll Park Stadium

Carroll Park Stadium, also the current home of the Indy Eleven, boasts the premier place for pickup soccer in Indianapolis. Typically hosting games every day from 7-9 pm, the host site is home to plenty of competitive soccer. This is an outdoor venue with turf fielding and a great view of the city. Free of cost but sometimes you have to take alternative entrances through the south tennis courts. A little makeshift sometimes but it is the best place to play. Parking can be a little difficult but park on the street or parking lots across the street. Considered “The best turf in the city”. Check out the Conquer app to see games being played there. 

Tab Recreation

Located on the north side of the city (34th & Central) it is a great location for anybody commuting from downtown or places around the city. This location varies in terms of days of the week but be sure to check Facebook groups and the Conquer app for pickup soccer near you. Lots of players that vary in skill. It is turf and it is outdoors, therefore cleats are okay. Typically you can find games or find people staying after the Gotham soccer league games. 

1410 National Ave (UIndy)

This location is right across the street from the UIndy baseball field at the aforementioned address. Located on the Southeast side of the city and close to downtown, it is an easily attainable location for folks across the city. Typically you will see pickup games on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:45 pm-9 pm. This is a turf field that is outdoors, so cleats are acceptable. Be sure to check on the Conquer app for games at this field and other locations. 

Broad Ripple Family Center

Typically running on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm, Broad Ripple Family Center boasts a brand-new facility with turf that overlays a basketball court. Futsal is mostly run at Broad Ripple and it does not have the facilities to host large soccer events, however, the runs are frequent and competitive. Be sure to check this location out on the north side through the Conquer app. Unlike other places, this is a $3 fee that you pay just to enter the gate, it is an easy process to pay with apple pay through the app. 

Tech Futsal (727 Oriental St)

The Tech Futsal runs are great runs located on the East Side/East part of downtown. As a free venue with concrete ground, it’s best not to wear cleats as it may hinder your performance and damage the flooring beneath you. This is a tight-knight group that is against any sort of hindrance of play. Be sure to check out the runs on the Conquer app, a lowkey group with an emphasis on the social side. 

Zionsville Pickups

Zionsville, a suburb far northwest of the city is a beautiful place with many outdoor soccer fields. It is $50 for 6 sessions and $100 for 12 sessions. Typically on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 pm-10 pm. It is indoor turf, so wear shoes or turf shoes. Best to get on the Conquer app to check out some games in the Zionsville area.
